West Lincoln recognizes top Winter sports athletes 2022-23

West Lincoln High School recenty handed out the individual Winter Sports awards to various athletes. Those recognized included: Indoor Track: Female MVP: Sierra Church; Coaches award: Sydney Huss; Male MVP: Nathan Rye; Team Before Self: Parker Warlick; NCHSAA State Qualifier: Sierra Church, Gracie Elmore, Curtis Goins. Cheerleading: JV Most Valuable Cheerleader - Madison Humston; Varsity Cheer: Most Valuable Cheerleader: Jenna Baxter; Most Spirited: Zoie Avery; Team Before Self: Katelyn Parker; NCCCA All State Cheer: Zoie Avery, Mollie Gilmore. Girls Basketball: Most Valuable Player: Chloe Norman; Most Improved: Zoey Owenby Team Before Self: Ashton Jenkins; All-Conference: Chloe Norman, Carolina Robinson; All-Conference Honorable Mention: Anna Bieberich. JV MVP: Jada Willis. Boys Basketball: Offensive Player of the Year- Jordan Truesdale; Defensive Player of the Year- Gideon Allen; Rookie of the Year - Bryce Beddingfield; Chairman of the Boards - Zander Harrelson; All-Conference: Jordan Truesdale; All-Conference Honorable Mention: Gideon Allen; JV MVP: Mikalister Anderson. Swim: Most Valuable Swimmer - Emmie Stoller; Team Before Self - Megan Green; Coaches Award - Madison Payne; All-Conference - Kellie Derby, Emmie Stoller; Honorable Mention All- Conference - Madison Payne.
