Register for Mustangs Softball camp
Registration is now open for the East Lincoln High School softball camp to be held June 24-27. The camp will be divided into four age groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-12 and 13-and-older, and will be directed by East Lincoln softball coach Mike Freeman, Mustangs assistant coaches and former and current Mustang players. Cost is $80, and the camp will run from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. daily. Players will have an opportunity to specialize in a position. They may choose pitcher, infield, outfield or catcher. Catchers must have their own gear. Campers will stay with the same position as each day is a lead up to the next. Campers are encouraged to wear baseball pants, a T-shirt and hat. They should bring a glove, water bottle, spray-on sunscreen and tennis shoes (for inclement weather). Registration forms are available at East Lincoln High School’s main office at 6471 N.C. 73, or Triple Crown BSG, 7855 Plaza Drive in Denver.
Lady Mustangs Basketball Camp
The East Lincoln girls basketball team will host their annual summer camp on July 22-25 at the High School. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon each day, and is open to all rising 4th through 9th graders. Directed by East Lincoln head coach Jason Otey, the camp will focus on individual skill work, development and improvement of fundamentals and in-game strategy and creating basketball IQ. The cost of the camp is $60 for pre-registering and $70 the day of the camp. Families with multiple participants will pay $50 each. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and have an opportunity to work with the high school coaches and players. For registration or information, contact Coach Otey by email at email@example.com.
East Lincoln Summer Baseball Camp
The East Lincoln Mustangs will be holding a baseball camp from June 17 through June 20. The camp will be divided into four age groups, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13 and up. The camps goals under the direction of head baseball coach Chris Matile are to help all campers learn the fundamentals of the game and improve their overall playing abilities while most importantly, having fun. In addition to Coach Matile, campers will be instructed by assistant coaches and current Mustang players. All participants should wear baseball pants, a t-shirt and a hat, and should bring their glove, a water bottle, sunscreen and tennis shoes (for inclement weather). Catchers need to bring their own gear. Campers should also bring a snack. The camp will take place at the East Lincoln High School baseball field, and the cost is $90.
