Bandys Joseph Cockman

Bandys’ Joseph Cockman was recently named the South Fork 2A’s men’s tennis Player of the Year.

The South Fork 2A recently announced the All-Conference team for the Spring 2021 high school men’s tennis season.

Six players from Lincoln County were named to the squad, including East Lincoln’s Connor Hall and Colin Maxwell, North Lincoln’s Alex Carver and Collin Bonner and Lincolnton’s Piero Rovalino and Zachary Zagorski.

Joseph Cockman of Bandys was presented the SF2A Player-of-the-Year award, and the Trojans’ Candace Newman was named the conference’s Coach-of-the-Year.

The full South Fork 2A men’s All-Conference team is listed below.

East Lincoln: Connor Hall, Colin Maxwell.

North Lincoln: Alex Carver, Collin Bonner.

Lincolnton: Piero Rovalino, Zachary Zagorski.

Maiden: Warner Laxton, Grayson Eneix.

Bandys: Joseph Cockman, Josh Cross.

Lake Norman Charter: Abhi Parmi, Sean Huynh.

Player-of-the-Year: Joseph Cockman - Bandys.

Coach-of-the-Year: Candace Newman - Bandys.
