Rebels made history in 2019 with first-ever playoff win

The West Lincoln Rebels made history one year ago with their first-ever football playoff win.  The Rebel defense held an Ashe County team that had been averaging nearly 40 points a game to just one score in a 48-6 rout of the Huskies.  West Lincoln forced four first-half turnovers on defense, and Canon Bridges ran for over 200 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Rebel offense.  Bridges big night put him over 2,000 yards rushing on the season, and set up West Lincoln’s first-ever home playoff game the following week.  Above, Bridges (15) celebrates a big hit and Chrystian Neal (44) comes away with the football.
