West Lincoln’s Caroline Robinson puts up a shot against Newton-Conover on Friday night in Vale.

The West Lincoln Rebels boys basketball team found themselves trailing 18-9 after one quarter, and it wound up being more than they could overcome in a 59-55 loss to Newton-Conover on Friday night in Vale.
