Mustangs, Rebels hooked up for 98-point outburst

East Lincoln outlasted the West Lincoln Rebels in their 2019 meeting in Denver, defeating the cross-county rival by a score of 63-35.  The Mustangs piled up over 600 yards of offense, while scoring the first 28 points of the game.  Cole Barber, pictured above, had 13 carries for 128 yards and three touchdowns on Senior Night at David Clark Stadium.  Quarterback Justin Barnett completed 9-of-15 passes for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns for East Lincoln.  Xander Pendergrass led West Lincoln’s 321-yard rushing attack, gaining 146 yards and scoring three touchdowns for the Rebels.  The two teams are scheduled to meet on April 2, 2021 in Vale.
