Lincolnton’s Smith signs to play football at Shenandoah

Lincolnton High School’s Andre Smith recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Smith was a three-year starter for the Wolves, and was a two-way player and team captain as a senior.  He was a member of the 1,000-pound club and was a leader in the weight room.  Smith led the offensive line in pancake blocks and was an All-Conference performer. Pictured are, seated Andre Smith, Sr (left) and Andre Smith.  Standing left to right: Jaden Angle (assistant football coach), Brent Gates (athletic director), Marty Holbrook (assistant football coach), David Byrd (head football coach), and Michael Budzinski (assistant football coach).
