Former Mustang Burleson stays hot in Memphis

Burleson continues to be one of the St. Louis Cardinals’ top prospects. Burleson leads the Triple A International League with 119 hits, a .329 batting average and 74 RBIs for the Memphis Redbirds. The slugger also has 19 home runs (6th in the league), 18 doubles and 54 runs scored. Burleson was taken by the Cardinals in the second round of the MLB draft in 2020 out of East Carolina University.  (Published August 12, 2022)
