ELMS girls win county championship

The East Lincoln Middle School Lady Falcons ended the season as conference champions with an 8-0 record. Led by four 8th graders and one 7th grader, the team scored 346 points in eight games, with Hailey McFadden, Taniyah Thomas, and Emma Montanari having a combined 255 points. Carly Puckett and Macie Robinson contributed with many assists, steals, and rebounds for a solid effort each game. (Published January 25, 2021)
