2019 was a phenomenal year for county cross-country teams

One year ago, the North Lincoln Knights continued their dominance in 2A cross-country in North Carolina, winning their third straight state championship behind individual champion Jason Thomson.  The Lady Knights, led by individual winner Angie Allen, finished as runner-up for the second consecutive season.  The Lincoln Charter Eagles (above), led by Drew Zink’s second-place individual finish, won their second straight 1A men’s championship.  The Lady Eagles took home third place as a team in 2019.
