Penny was a blessing

A special thank you to Michelle T. Bernard for her heart-warming article about Penny, the amazing guardian dog of Boger City. Penny was steadfast, loyal and stately as she observed the pulse of Boger City — the traffic. Penny did not take chances crossing the busy highway, her ESP served her well. No matter how many times my husband, Ken, and I drove past Penny’s home, we always looked for her. Penny was a comforting presence, her diligence gained her the admiration and appreciation of Boger City residents and others who were traveling through the area. How we miss Penny, she will definitely live on in our hearts. Indeed, God has blessed us in innumerable ways and we thank him for sending Penny to Mr. Hester and sharing her life with us.
