Wayne Harold Stouffer

Wayne Harold Stouffer, 63, of Lincolnton passed away June 20, 2019.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Wayne’s life was held June 23, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home in Cherryville.

Ricky Ray Sigmon, Jr.

Ricky Ray. Sigmon, Jr., 39, passed away June 22, 2019 at his residence.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 26, 2019  at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherryville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. June 26, 2019 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherryville. Burial will be private.

 Mr. Clyde William Walker

Mr. Clyde William Walker, Sr., age 96, of Denver, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ken Furchess officiating.  The family will speak to friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Walker was born June 20, 1923 in Lincoln County to the late Frank and Maude Smith Walker.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lillian Fargis Walker.  Mr. Walker was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp.  He was retired from the furniture industry.

Survivors include one son, Clyde W. Walker, Jr. and wife Beth of Durham; two daughters, LaDonna Spurlin and husband Charles Wayne of Lake Norman and Vickie W. Holcombe of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
