Helen Spicer Hart Caskey
Helen Spicer Hart Caskey, age 82, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, April 15, 2019.
Mrs. Caskey was born June 5, 1936, in Rutherford County, to the late Sampson and Leona Spicer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Paul Hart; her second husband, Billy Joe Caskey; as well as a daughter, Brenda Hart Rexroad. She was a lifelong member at Southside Baptist Church.
She is survived by a grandson, Robert Rexroad of Newton; and a granddaughter, Sheree Martin, and husband Josh, of Hickory.
A private inurnment is being planned for a later date.

Brenda Joyce Perkins Douthit
Brenda Joyce Perkins Douthit, age 76, of Denver passed away April 13, 2019 at Cardinal Care, Lincolnton, NC. She was born on September 15, 1942 in Catawba County, NC. Mrs. Douthit worked in education for many years as a teachers assistant.
She is preceded in by her parents, Warren Harding Perkins and Hazel Louise Thorton Perkins and by her husband, Bobby Ralph Douthit.
Mrs. Douthit is survived by two sons, Robby Douthit and Jeff Douthit; one daughter, Donna Mauney; one sibling, Barbara Gabriel; eight grandchildren, Melissa Mauney, Trent Mauney, James Douthit, Samuel Douthit, Thomas Douthit, John Douthit, Mary Grace Douthit and Jeremy Douthit; and two great grandchildren, Jason Douglas and Cooper Douthit.
The funeral service will be held at Goodin-Drum Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery Lincolnton, NC. Following the funeral service the family will receive friends later that evening at Goodin-Drum Funeral Home from 5pm -7pm.

Max Edward Womack, age 69 of Maiden passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Atrium Health – Lincoln, after fighting his battle with leukemia. Max was born March 21, 1950 in Mecklenburg County.
