 Larry Neal Somers
Larry Neal Somers, age 72, of Reeps Grove Church Road in Vale, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023.Â
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 16 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan LeMaster- Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5:45 p.m. prior to the service.Â
Larry was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Lincoln County, to the late Nathan Crawford Somers and Ilene Rinehart Somers. He worked at Duke Energy for 47 years and served in the United States Army stationed in Korea.Â
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Houser Somers of the home; son, John Somers of Denver; brothers, Michael Somers of Brevard, and David Somers (Robin) of Denver; two grandchildren, Joncole Somers and Cooper Somers, both of Lincolnton; and a number of nieces and nephews.Â
