Charlie Greene was promoted to Captain and will oversee Detention Operations, civil and court deputies and prisoner transportation. Greene served in the NC Highway Patrol for 30 years before joining the LCSO 11 years ago.
Kelly Paris will lead the Criminal Investigations Division. He joined the LCSO in 2013.
Lester White was promoted to First Sergeant of the Civil and Court Division. He began his career as a 911 dispatcher in Lincoln County and has worked as a patrol deputy and patrol Sergeant. He’s worked lake patrol, criminal investigations, narcotics and animal control.
“I have confidence in their leadership abilities, decision making and common sense approach to getting the job done,” Sheriff Beam said in a press release. “Our goal is to work hard everyday to make the Sheriff’s Office the best it can be for every employee and provide the best service to the people of Lincoln County.”
