Mrs. Brent Alan Heaberlin

Emily Faye Edwards and Brent Alan Heaberlin both of Hickory were united in marriage at Daniels Lutheran Church, Lincolnton on May 4, 2013. Reverend Ted Bost, Jr. officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.

Emily is the daughter of Terry and Jane Edwards of Lincolnton. She is a 2010 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University and is employed by Lenoir-Rhyne University as the Coordinator of Events and High School Programs.

Brent is the son of Don and Cinda Heaberlin of Ottawa, Ill. Grandparents are Mrs. Louise Flom and Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Heaberlin. He is a 2010 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University and is employed by Lenoir-Rhyne University as Associate Athletics Director and Director of NCAA Compliance.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Maids of honor were Sara Carpenter, cousin of the bride and Brooke Heafner, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Edwards, sister-in-law of the bride, Adrienne Heaberlin, sister-in-law of the groom, Christy Miller, friend of the bride, and Kim Carrigan, friend of the bride.

Best man was Jay Heaberlin, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Edwards, brother of the bride, Ryan Heaberlin, cousin of the groom, Herman Bruno, friend of the groom, Larry Kofoid, friend of the groom, Paul Knight, friend of the groom, Trevor Herweyer, friend of the groom.

Flower girl was Ava Cecil, cousin of the bride and ring bearer was Grant Edwards, nephew of the bride. Register attendant was Carrie Bruno, friend of the bride and groom. The wedding was directed by Linda Wyant.

A reception was located at Catawba Country Club, Newton and was hosted by the parents of the bride. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Market on Main, Hickory.

The couple was given numerous showers by family and friends.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico the couple reside in Hickory.
