50th Anniversary

Rev. Robert and Shirley Combs of Lincolnton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 5, 2016. They were married on March 5, 1966 at Boger City United Methodist Church by Rev. J.W. Combs, Rev. Dr. Walter J. Miller and Rev. George Bumgardner. Rev. Combs is a retired United Methodist Minister who served over 50 years in the Western NC Conference, and Mrs. Combs has been a devoted wife and mother, as well as a teacher of young children throughout the many churches they have had the pleasure to serve. Rev. and Mrs. Combs were honored with a reception at Boger City United Methodist Church on March 5, 2016. The reception was hosted by their son, Robbie Combs, Carolyn Dysart; sister of Mrs. Combs, Kelly Dysart Duschel and family and Patrick Duschel.
