Don and Sarah Ballard happily celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary July 11th. The couple have three children, five grandchildren, and two granddogs. Don and Sarah were married July 11, 1959 at Boger City Methodist Church in Lincolnton, by the Reverend JJ Powell. The couple are enjoying their retirement, spending time with family, volunteering in the community, traveling and visiting their beach home on Oak Island, NC.
