LHS wrestling results

WEST CALDWELL — The Lincolnton High Wrestling team won two games and suffered one loss Nov. 26 during the meet at West Caldwell High School. Lincolnton won 41-30, and 48 to 36 against W.C., and lost 21-59 against R.S. Central.

In the first game against South Caldwell, Joe Wilson (won by pin), Mitchell Hawn (decision), Damean Graham (pin), Joey Marcum (pin), Darryl Bracey (won by forfeit), Bradley Beamer (decision), Michael Weiss (pin), and Jason Hammonds (decision) all got wins for the Wolves.

In the R.S. Central match, LHS wins came from Hawn (pin), Graham (pin), Marcum (decision), and Hammonds (pin).

The last game against West Caldwell, Lincolnton’s wins were by Joe Wilson (pin), Chandler Jackson (won by forfeit), Dameon Graham (pin), Joey Marcum (pin), Darryl Bracey (forfeit), Bradley Beamer (pin), Michael Weiss (pin), and Jason Hammonds (pin).

The team record now stands at 3-2.

West Middle volleyball ends season

West Lincoln Middle won two matches in a tri-match at Pumpkin Center.

WLMS defeated Chase 15-8, 15-5 and Pumpkin Center 15-10, 15-1.  

Holly Hoover led the Lady Chief with 26 points. Other contributors were Jessie Watts (15 points), Elle Tallent (7), Kenzie Elmore (2), Kristen Beeker (2), Hannah Glanee (1) and Brooke Sain (1).

West Lincoln Middle School’s record is 10-2.

Pumpkin Center defeated Chase in the first match of the day. No scores were available.
