Korey Martin named Fall Baseball MVP |

Korey Martin was named MVP in the Mecklenburg-Lake Norman Fall Baseball League. Martin, a seventh grader at West Lincoln Middle, led the league in batting with a .563 average, extra base hits with 16 and stolen bases with 24. He posted a 2-0 record on the mound to go along with four saves. Martin helped his team, the Huntersville Braves, win the league championship with a .875 batting average in the championship series. The leagues was sponsored by PONY Baseball.
