Lincoln celebrates holidays with carriage rides, parades and parties

Parades marked the holiday season in the area. (Top) County Commissioner Floyd Wright threw candy during the Cherryville parade. (Middle) Scott Carpenter and Rebecca Ingle, Man and Woman of the Year, motored through the Lincolnton Christmas parade.  (Bottom) Luke Houser rode his horse Daisy through the Cat Square parade.

(Above) Jessica Pendleton cuddled with her new Clifford doll during the Lions Club Christmas Party for the Blind. She won the Big Red Dog during a drawing. (Below) Zane Hisson, Linda Johnson and Mikhail Ruglico, students at Battleground Elementary School, sang during the Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.
