Clint Pendleton collection of works entitled, “Inconspicuous,” are on display at the Lincolnton Cultural Center.

The exhibition — hosted by the Lincoln Arts Council — will be in the Cochrane and Carolina Mills Galleries until Friday, Oct. 31. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., weekdays, 1 until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 until 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Pendleton is a fine arts graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has displayed his work in many exhibitions, including the Lincoln Arts Council’s County-wide Art Show, in the Parish House gallery, at Apple Jam and Cedar Street Arts at the Apple Festival. He also painted a mural here in Lincolnton.

Pendleton began teaching art under the auspices of the Arts Council in the summer of 1999 when he taught the second session of the Art Camp. He has taught every year since then, including art history and photography classes. He teaches both public and home schooled students.

For the last year, Pendleton has worked to create the body of work on display.
