Pinching Pennies

Students from Iron Station School participated in a penny drive sponsored by the Nutrition Advisory Council. The purpose was to raise money to buy food and school supplies for low income families in Brazil. Mrs. Williamson's fifth-grade class collected the most money and was treated to an ice cream party. The class also sold the most candy bars for grades 3-5 in the recent PTA fund-raiser with Dashawn Wilson being the top seller.
