James Bennett
James Michael Bennett, 61, of 410 Clayton Circle, died Nov. 27, 2003.
He was born in Ft. Meyers, Fla.
Survivors include one son, James Bennett, II of Lincolnton; one daughter, Julia Rose of Lincolnton; one sister, Tina Greene of New
Bern and two grandchildren, Matthew Woodruff and Amanda Woodruff.

James Robert Abernethy, 60, of 198 Horseshoe Lake Road, died Nov. 28, 2003. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Salem Lutheran
Church, where he was a member. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Born in Lincoln County, he was employed by Carolina Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Abernethy of the home; one son, Scott Abernethy of Durham; two daughters, Cassie Bracey and Jamie
Abernethy both of Lincolnton; two sisters, Ann Jenkins of Lincolnton and Kay Houser of Vale and six grandchildren.

Larry Gene Reynolds, 60, of 2219 Catawba Heights Road, died Nov. 28, 2003. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at Lenoard’s Ford
Baptist Church. Burial followed in St. Marks Cemetery.
Born in Lincoln County, he was employed by the Heating and Air Conditioning industry.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Reynolds and Rick Reynolds both of Lincolnton; one daughter, Deborah Gilmore of Crouse; four
brothers, JP Reynolds and Paul Reynolds both of Lincolnton, Calvin Reynolds of Maiden and Gary Reynolds of Vale; one sister, Margaret Ingle of Lincolnton; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
