Edward Hull

FALLSTON — Edward Billy Hull, 75, of 153 Charolais Drive, died Nov. 18, 2003. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at Fallston Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Born in Cleveland County, he was a retired sales manager from Waldensian Bakeries and co-owner of Cleveland Feed and Farm Supply.

Survivors include his wife, Bobby Martin Hull of the home; one son, Eddie Hull of Shelby; one daughter, Susan Alcide of Lawndale; one brother, Bob Hull of Shelby and four grandchildren, Jenny Day, Kyle Alcide, Connor Alcide and Kelsey Alcide.

Memorials may be made to Fallston Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 116, Fallston, NC 28042.

Stamey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Randy King

Randy Darrell King Sr., 55, of 740 Second St., died Nov. 14, 2003. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Born in Iredell County, he was a department manager at Culp Industries.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Long King of the home; five sons, Randy King, II, Don King, Derek King, Jonathan King and Beau King all of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, CJ and Kathryn; grandmother, Vera Williams of Mooresville; mother, Reva King of Mooresville; four brothers, Richard King of Concord, Tony King of Salisbury, Steve King and Danny King both of Mooresville and three sisters, Sherry Passmore, Gail Lowery and Peggy Ritchie all of Mooresville.

Blondine Forbes

FAYETTEVILLE — Blondine Cherry Forbes, 55, of 712 Rockwood Drive, died Nov. 16, 2003. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roberts Tabernacle CME Church. Burial will follow at Webb Memorial Lawns. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 tonight at Enloe Mortuary.

 

Shana Carroll

MAIDEN — Shana Danielle Carroll, 21, of 2300 Deerfield Drive, died Nov. 19, 2003. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 p.m. today at Burke Mortuary in Maiden.

Born in Catawba County, she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Survivors include her parents, Bill and Sharon Carroll; one brother, Daniel McRae of Maiden; paternal grandmother, Joretta Doggeth of Orlando, Fla. and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Carolyn Bishop of Tenn.

 

Myrtle Hooper

Myrtle Ray Hooper, 98, of 817 E. Pine St., died Nov. 18, 2003. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gold Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Born in Lincoln County, she was a retired housekeeper.

Survivors include one brother, Saul Hunter of Brooklyn, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Taffy Parker

GEORGIA — Taffy Christine Parker, 50, of 7630 Park Lane, formerly of Cherryville, died at her residence. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenters Funeral Home. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Born in Cleveland County, she was employed by Bell South as a manager.

Survivors include her daughter, Missy Carter of Jonesboro, Ga.; one granddaughter, Emma Carter; two sisters, Diane Dellinger of Cherryville and Keetha Kirby of Dallas and one brother, Cubby Jolly of Cherryville.

 

Lillian Mosteller

CHERRYVILLE — Lillian “Teny” Mosteller, 77, of 214 N. Mountain St., died Nov. 19, 2003. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 tonight at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

Born in Gaston County, she was a homemaker, a member of Cherryville American Legion Auxillary as a president and a member of Cherryville Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 156.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Berrier of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Carye Brown of Cherryville and three grandchildren, Shannon Mosteller, Julie Berrier and Robert Berrier.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 301 E. Main St., Cherryville, NC 28021.

 

Carrie Crowe

NEWTON — Carrie Lee Mauney Crowe, 87, died Nov. 21, 2003.

Arrangements are incomplete at Burke Mortuary in Newton.
