C. Swinehart

HICKORY — Clarence LeCoy Swinehart, 74, of 2200 33rd St. NE, died Nov. 11, 2003. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton. Burial followed in Conover City Cemetery.

He was born in Homesville, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Barker Swinehart of the home; one son, Randy Swinehart of Casa Grande, Az.; two sisters, Irene Flanagan of Hudson and Ilene Austin of Ohio and one brother, Daryl Swinehart of Ohio.

 

Kathy Forgette

NEWTON — Kathy Juanita Barringer Forgette, 52, of 514 East 16th St., died Nov. 10, 2003. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born in Catawba County.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Willim Forgette of the home; one son, William
Wallace of Newton; one brother, Harry Barringer of Lowell; one sister, Jeannie Strickland of Charleston, W. Va.; grandmother, Jennie Hewitt of Rantoul, Ill. and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Beth Eden Lutheran Church, 400 N. Main Ave., Newton, NC 28658.

 

Lettie Price

IRON STATION — Lettie Shrum Price, 87, of the Brain Center, formerly of 3040 E. Hwy. 27, died Nov. 13, 2003. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Born in Lincoln County, she was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one sister, Madge Devine of Iron Station and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 3097 Asbury Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

DALLAS — Warren Ralph “Dub” Richardson, 81, of 1219 Alexis High Shoals Road, died Nov. 12, 2003.

Arrangements are incomplete at Ebony & White’s Funeral Service.

 

E. Hendricks

MAIDEN — Elizabeth Ann Hendricks, infant daughter of Dale and Felicia Hendricks of North 8th Avenue, died Nov. 12, 2003. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Providence Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by paternal grandparents, Jerry Milburn of Stanley and Bruce and Debbie Street of Maiden; maternal grandparents, Tracy and Cindy Morgan of Maiden; paternal great-grandparents, Pearl and Alan Woodby of Iron Station and Georgia Johnson of Maiden; maternal great-grandparents, Louise Towery of Maiden, Eb Towery of Vale, Jack and Kay Bumgarner and Claude and MayBelle Morgan all of Maiden.

Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 2518 Providence Mill Road, Maiden, NC 28650.

Burke Mortuary in Maiden is in charge of arrangements.

 

Ned Fisher

O.H. “Ned” Fisher, III, died Nov. 12, 2003. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Moravian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. tonight at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.

 Born in Forsyth County, he was a member of Trinity Moravian Church where he served on the Board of Trustees.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Fisher of the home; a son, Oscar Fisher of Los Angeles, Ca.; two daughters, Julie McCarthy of Los Angeles, Ca. and Tracy Powell of Denver; his mother, Sue Kelly and husband Duke of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Nicole Price, Jessica Powell and Jessica McCarthy; one great granddaughter; one brother, Tommy L. Fisher of Advance.
