Margaret Hudson

Margaret Elizabeth Hudson, 21, of Lincolnton, died Nov. 2, 2003. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where she was a member. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park.

She was a 2001 graduate of Gaston Day School and a student at Wake Forest University.

Survivors include her parents Jim and Beth Hudson of Lincolnton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paulin of Dallas and Eloise Hudson of Charlotte and three half-sisters, Denise Bryson of Belmont, Patricia Gates of Gastonia and Sara Hudson of Monroe.

Memorials may be made to Carolina Donor Services, 3622 Lyckan Parkway, Suite 6002, Durham, NC 27707.

McLean Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

 

Georgia McKee

CHERRYVILLE — Georgia Belle Howard McKee, 80, of 400 W. Academy St., died Nov. 4, 2003. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Born in Cleveland County, she was retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center as a nursing assistant, a member of First Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.

Survivors include one step-son, Harry McKee of Dalton, Ga.; two daughters, Rachel Whitaker of Cherryville and Jessie Tesner of Shelby; one step-daughter, Betty McKee of Shelby; one brother, Floyd Howard of Fallston; one sister, Rosella Wease of Cherryville; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Willie McClain

KINGS MOUNTAIN — Willie Emmanuel McClain, 79, of 241 Shady Grove Road, died Nov. 1, 2003. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Enloe Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Sonjia Hedrick

CONOVER — Sonjia Jones Hedrick, 64, of 1615 Ivo Lane, died Nov. 5, 2003.

Arrangements are incomplete at Burke Mortuary in Newton.
