Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed.
Born in Cleveland County, he tended horses.
Survivors include his parents, Deborah Kayvon Mixon Smith and Rob Smith of Bostic; one son, Pete Smith of Blacksburg, SC; one
brother, Jim Smith of Bessemer City; three sisters, Sue Deveney, Annie Jones both of Bessemer City and Linda Smith of Bostic and two grandchildren, Kenneth Smith and Katherine Smith.
