CHERRYVILLE — Billy Jerry “Snag” Runyan, 75, of 208 N. Houser Street, died May 16, 2003. A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Cleveland County, he was a NC Department of Transportation retiree, a U.S. Army WWII veteran, a former member of VFW, DAV
and AMVETS and a member of New Hope Baptist Church..
Survivors include his wife Joan Alexander Runyan; one brother, Morris Runyan of Earl and one sister, Grace Lyerly of Huntersville.

MAIDEN — Floy Rudisill Bolick, 85, of Maiden, died May 17, 2003. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Martins Lutheran Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in
Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 - 4 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Born in Catawba County, she was a restaurant owner.
Survivors include one daughter, Gail Sigmon of Maiden; two granddaughters, Angela Sigmon and April Sigmon Ramsey both of Maiden; two
brothers, Garland Rudisill of Denver and Harold Rudisill of Newton.

CHARLOTTE — Brenda Marie Clark, 54, of 6101 Elgywood Lane, died May 15, 2003. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, where she was a member.
Burial will follow in the Henry’s Chapel A.M.E. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
Born in Gaston County, she worked at Dobbs (U.S. Air) in food service.
Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Clark Cato of Charlotte; two sisters, Bernice Bidgood and Margaret Clark, both of Charlotte;
two grandchildren, Brandon Cato and Bracey Cato; AND three sisters, Frances White of Lincolnton, Lillie Waring of Charlotte and Joanne Ross of Charlotte.

Martha Punch Moss, 92, of 614 Southside Church Road, died May 17, 2003. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hollybrook

Born in Lincoln County, was an A&P store retiree, a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church and a volunteer mission worker in
New York and Colorado.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Edith Sigmon, Peggy Finger and Joanne Ross, all of Lincolnton; one sister, Marion Punch
Cashion of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

SHELBY — Gladys Bradshaw Chapman Mull, 93, of 1335 Lithia Springs Road, died May 17, 2003. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The

Born in Burke County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Hill Church Community.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Beverly Ledford, Pamela Leford, Sharon Tesseneer and Laura Cantu, all of Shelby; three
great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Born in Waltress, Penn., she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Virginia Militello of Columbia, SC; one brother Lawrence Gill of Thomasville and eight grandchildren.
