CHERRYVILLE — Annie Bess McSwain, 91, of Lincoln Nursing Center, formerly of Leonhardt Road., died Jan. 13, 2004. Funeral services
were at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Bess Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Born in Lincoln County, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include five grandchildren, Gale Milburn, Richard McSwain, Teresa Ikard, Vickie Hovis and Robin Heafner; one
great-granddaughter and three sisters, Nell Wright of Lincolnton, Connie Gantt and Bertie Wright both of Cherryville.

Born in Seymour, Ind., he was a sales representative for La-Z-Boy and a member of Christ Community Church.

Born in Sampson County, she was retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Army veteran.

today at Southside Baptist Church in Florence, where he was a member. Interment followed in the Florence National Cemetery with Military Honors.
He was retired from La-Z-Boy, and was employed by Piggly Wiggly. He was a member of the VFW Effingham Post and was a WWII U.S. Army
Air Corps veteran and served with the SC National Guard.
