Don Wallace Don Taylor Wallace, 41, of Crystal Court, died Jan. 26, 2002. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Living Word Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Born in Gaston County, he was a welder with Under Ground Construction Company. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Crouse Wallace; a son, Joshua Wallace of the home; his parents, J.D. and Ruby Wallace of Dallas; three brothers, Ed Wallace of Stanley, Jack Wallace, and Wayne Wallace, both of Dallas; and one sister, Susan Jacobs of Gastonia . Bud Shull Bud Ralph Shull, 51, of 710 Louise Avenue, died Jan. 27, 2002. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. today in Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Buddy Shull, and Jeff Fowler, both of Vale; one daughter, Cynthia Goins of Lincolnton; his mother and step-father, Laura Willis and L.A. DeWayne Wilson NEWTON — DeWayne Wilson, 68, of 3629 Yount Road, died Jan. 27, 2002. A funeral service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Living Word Pentecostal Church in Maiden. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. today in Piney Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Born in Yancey County, he worked in the furniture industry until retirement. Wilson, both of Newton, and David Ray Wilson of Hickory; two daughters, Donna Cook of Lincolnton, and Destiny M.
