T.F. Robertson Sr.
REIDSVILLE — Thomas Frederick “Fred” Robertson Sr., 74, of 1554 Ashley Loop, died Jan. 23, 2002. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mt.
Hermon Baptist Church where he was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Rockingham County, he was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, and a member of the Eden Masonic Lodge. He was a retired salesman with Big Bill Bottling
Company.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Rice Robertson; one son, Thomas “Tom” Frederick Robertson Jr. of Denver; one daughter, Corinda R. Thompson of Reidsville;
three brothers, Bernard Robertson and Hunter Robertson, both of Eden, and Hollis Robertson of Reidsville; and three grandchildren, Kristi Thompson, Katelyn Robertson and Dalton Robertson.
City Funeral Home in Reidsville is in charge of arrangements.
Hilton Hamrick
SHELBY — Lloyd Hilton Hamrick, 75, of 111 Perry St., died Jan. 23, 2002. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home
Chapel with burial following in Ross Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Cleveland County, he was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict veteran. A member of Ross Grove Baptist Church, he was the owner
of Hamrick Grocery and Seasonal Plants.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Lib” Collette Hamrick; and one sister, Lorene H. Leonard of Lincolnton.

Catherine Kuliga
CHERRYVILLE — Catherine W. Kuliga, 91, died Jan. 20, 2002. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 9 in Serenity Gardens in Largo, Fla.
She was born in Manchester, N.H.
Survivors include one son, Charles Kuliga of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren, Debbie Slone, Judy Mitchell and Kendra Kuliga; and four great-grandchildren.

Marceille Owens
CHERRYVILLE — Marceille “Marcy” Browne Owens, 72, of 118 Paul H. Beam Road, died Jan. 22, 2002. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First
Presbyterian Church in Cherryville where she was a member. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends tonight from 7
until 8:30 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Born in Gaston County, she was the retired owner and operator of Marcy’s Beauty Nook for 50 years.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. “Jack” Owens; one daughter, Jaqueline “Jackie” Owens Centofanti of Cherryville; one brother, Don R. Browne of
Cherryville; and four sisters, Dorothy Maness and Robbie “Bobbie” Hood, both of Bessemer City, Doris Davis of Tallahassee, Fla., and Connie Greene of Candler.

Born in Chicago, Ill., he was the owner of Lake Norman Motel and Restaurant.
Survivors include his wife, Halina G. Genaro; two sons, Tony Genaro and John Paul Genaro, both of Maiden; one daughter, Christina Mullis of Maiden; his
mother, Mildred Genaro Gosselin of Maiden; one brother, Maurice Genaro of Stanley; one sister, Adrienne Genaro of Prosser, Wash.; and one grandchild, Cecilia Rose Mullis of Maiden.
