Dennis Bell
SHELBY — Dennis Lee Bell, 60, of 113 Blackhawk Drive, died Jan. 11, 2002. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Stamey Funeral Home Chapel.
Born in Cleveland County, he served in the National Guard, worked as a motor rewinder for Electric Motor Service until retirement, and was a life-time
member of the Green River Beagle Club.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Earwood Bell; two sons, Mike Bell, and Richard Bell, both of Shelby; a daughter, Lori Ann Ledford of Cherryville; a brother, Doug Bell of Shelby; two
sisters, Elaine Gettys of Gastonia, and Jewell Kendrick of Kings Mountain; and three grandchildren, Candy Bell, Dale Ledford Jr., and Jake Bell.

Joyce Ramsey
CHERRYVILLE — Joyce Randall Ramsey, 79, of 111 Sussex Avenue, died Jan. 11, 2002. A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church
in Cherryville where she was a member. Burial followed in City Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Gaston County, she worked for Dellinger Jewelry for 15 years. At her church, she was a member of the Presbyterian Women and the Earnest Workers
Sunday School class.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Ramsey of Charlotte.

William Willard
DENVER — William Willard, 71, of 8301 Ferncrest Lane, died Jan. 11, 2002. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Warlick Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
Born in Greenwood, S.C., he was a carpenter for Duke Power until retirement.
Survivors include three sons, William H. Willard of Denver, Johnny A. Willard of Huntersville, and Jerry Lee Willard of Vermont; one daughter, Brenda
Stilwell of Stanley; one brother, Benny L. Willard of Greenwood, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Drum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8 at the funeral home.
Born in Cleveland County, he was an inspector for Vermont American until retirement. He was also a member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church, Toluca.
Survivors include a son, Donald Wilson of Iron Station; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Reinhardt of Iron Station; two brothers, Ernest Wilson of Fallston, and
William Wilson of Maryland; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

STANLEY — Andrew Jackson McLean Jr., 64, of 7155 Old Plank Road, died Jan. 11, 2002. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Gold Hill Baptist
Church where he was a member. Burial will follow in the Gold Hill/Rock Hill Cemetery in Lowesville. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Born in Lincoln County, he was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Copeland McLean; three sons, James McLean, and Damon McLean, both of Mt. Holly, and Reginald McLean of Dallas; three
daughters, Sheila McLean, and Sindy McLean, both of Mt. Holly, and Bonita McLean of Charlotte; his mother, Isabelle McLean of Stanley; two brothers, Boyd McLean of Stanley, and Benny McLean of Charlotte; three
sisters, Sylvia McLean of Washington, D.C., Betty Howell of Iron Station, and Carolyn McLean of Stanley; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Born in St. Augustine, Fla., she was a seamstress with Burris Chair until retirement.

Lincolnton; a sister, Edna Hunter of Elton, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Catawba County, she was a homemaker.
