By Staff reports 覧覧覧覧覧覧 The Lake Norman Marine Commission has been advised that the following aids to navigation were in need of repair, non-functioning, missing or not in their proper location as of Oct. 23: Main channel marker 16 was in the wrong location. The sign for main channel marker 18B is the wrong shape and was replaced with a triangle. Main channel markers 7, 11, and 15A were non-functioning. The sign for creek channel marker P2 was the wrong shape and was replaced with a triangle. The signs for D11 and south side M2 were missing. The lighted shoal marker at Sandbar Island was missing a sign and had the pole and light replaced. The lighted shoal markers at Vineyard Point and R5 were missing. The no rafting buoys at Sandbar were reset as the lights were not functioning. The bridge buoys at Slanting Bridge were out of location.
