A Lincolnton man has been charged with careless and reckless driving following a wreck Sunday on East Main Street. James Dean Clemmer, of
146 Leisure Trail, was transported to Lincoln Medical Center following the wreck. Witnesses said he was driving erratically, according to police reports. Clemmer ran off the side of the road, struck a
fire hydrant and rolled numerous times, the report states. Clemmer told authorities another car cut him off, causing him to run off the road. It is estimated that he was traveling 65 mph in a 45 mph
