Ground was broken Thursday morning on a new industrial park in Lincolnton.

Midtown Industrial Park is located at the corner of N.C. 150 and South Grove Street. It is ideal for light industrial and manufacturing companies.

“The park is perfectly situated with exposure to the N.C. 150 by-pass and only minutes from U.S. 321 and downtown Lincolnton,” said Laura Foor, exisiting business coordinator for the Lincoln Economic Development Association.

It will offer 12 lots that range in size from a half acre to two acres.

The competitively priced lots will be lightly restricted and an owner’s association will be in place to ensure the park remains attractive.

Location, price and appeal make Midtown Industrial Park the perfect place for companies looking to locate in a small industrial park, Foor said.

LEDA has been involved in several groundbreakings in the past weeks, including a new shell building and an expansion to the RSI plant in the Lincoln County Industrial Park.

Midtown is owned by Piedmont Companies.

For more information on the park, call Piedmont Realty Associates at 800-813-4530 or visit the Web site at www.piedmontrealtyassociates.com
