Martin steps down; Jetton named Democrat chairman From staff reports April 26, 2002 - The Lincoln County Democrat Party, Executive committee, has appointed Roby Jetton as party chairman. Jetton was appointed after Tommy Martin informed the executive committee that he was stepping down as party chairman in order for him to devote his time to his candidacy for a seat on the Lincoln County Board of County Commission. Jetton, a life-long resident of Lincoln County, has been active in Lincoln County Democrat politics most of his life. The next general party meeting is in May.
