CHERRYVILLE — Louise Wilkinson Dellinger, of Summit Place, formerly of Cherryville, died July 15, 2004. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Maiden, she was the owner and operator of Dellinger’s Jewel Shop.
Survivors include a son, Lewis Dellinger of Kings Mountain; a granddaughter, Holly Robinson; a grandson, Lew Dellinger; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Williams of Newton.

Justin Ryan Crouse, infant son of Dustin and Aleta Moore Crouse of 4517 Hunter Rhyne Road, died July 14, 2004. A private family graveside service was held at Amity Baptist Church Cemetery Friday.

Born in Cleveland County, he was retired from Hickory Leather and was a member of the United Methodist Men. He was preceded in death by his parents, Battie Everette Thackerson and Susan Mae Garver Thackerson and an infant sister, Janetta Thackerson.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Shull Thackerson; a son, Junior Thackerson of Hickory; a sister, Christine Lovelace of Lawndale; three grandchildren, Tiffany Thackerson, Joseph Thackerson and Matthew Thackerson and a great-grandchild.

Born in Daytona Beach, Fla., he was a regulatory engineer at Duke Power.

She was born in Cleveland County. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Baxter Sr. She was employed by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department as an accountant and was a member of Bess Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mabel T. Baxter of Cherryville; a special friend, Randy Davis of Cherryville; a brother, Tom Baxter Jr. of Cherryville; two sisters, Ann Stanley and husband Larry of Lincolnton and Kathy Degroot and husband Brian of Cherryville; nieces and nephews, Steven Baxter, Melissa Avery, Larry Stanley, Melinda Smith, Tommy Baxter, Hunter Avery and Seth Baxter and great nieces and nephews, Evelyn Smith, Katlyn Smith, Zack Smith, Gage Baxter, Hannah Baxter, Abigail Baxter, Hailey Smith and Tyler Stanley.
