Joe Bradshaw
CLAREMONT — Joe W. Bradshaw, 70, of Diamond St., died July 4, 2004. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born in Catawba County.
Survivors include his wife, Jasperine Pierce Bradshaw of the home; five sons, David Bradshaw of Hickory, William Bradshaw of Conover, Jerry Bradshaw of the home, Larry Bradshaw of Conover and Bobby Bradshaw of Catawba; a daughter, Libby Ikard of Newton; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Wade “Cotton” Bradshaw of Claremont, Butch Bradshaw, George Bradshaw and Bill Bradshaw, all of Conover; and four sisters, Colleen Fox of Taylorsville, Brenda Phiffer of Salisbury, Kay Lowman of Conover and Nettie Houston of Conover.

Anthony Walker
CHERRYVILLE — Anthony J. Walker, 42, of 3161-I Walnut Creek Parkway, died July 3, 2004. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. today at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church. Burial followed in City Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Herrin, Ill., he was employed by Carrier Carolina Sales and Distribution.
Survivors include his parents, Bill and Linda Bione Walker of Cherryville; a sister, Tammy Wallace of Cherryville; a brother, William Walker of Marion, Va.; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Walker of Herrin, Ill.
Memorials may be made to St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church, 148 St. Dorothy’s Lane, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Carpenters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Doug Beasley
VALE — Douglas Lee “Doug” Beasley, 68, of 6758 Knottywood Lane, died July 4, 2004. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
Born in Putnam County, Ga., he was a retired cabinet maker at Beam Lumber Company and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Odom Beasley of the home; two daughters, Vicky Clark of Fallston and Paula Hopper of Stanley; three sisters, Ceree Rainey of Chase City, Va., Gloria Johnson of Vale and Evelyn McLean of Philadelphia, Pa.; and seven grandchildren, Kimberly Clark, Isaac Clark Jr., Vyctorya Clark, Zerrie Stewart, Cory Stewart, Shawanna Stewart and Tawanna Stewart.

Susan D. Reinhardt, 37, of 1145 E. Pine St., died July 6, 2004.
