Ginger Williams
Ginger Gay Herndon Williams, 29, of Lincolnton, died March 14, 2004. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was born in Mt. View, Calif.
Survivors include a son, Dustin Williams of the home; a daughter, Destiny Williams of the home; her parents, Roger and Patricia Herndon of Iron Station; a sister, Robin Valdes of Huntersville; paternal grandmother, Garnette Midgette of Modesto, Calif. and maternal grandmother, Rosa Blankenship of Denver.
Memorials may be made to Heaven Bound Baptist Church, Ginger Williams Fund, PO Box 1510, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
Burke Mortuary in Maiden is in charge of arrangements.

Frances Cooke
UTAH — Frances Shuford Cooke, 85, of Kanab, Utah, died Dec. 8, 2003. A memorial service will be held in her honor at St. Mary’s Chapel, 1129 E. 3rd St., Charlotte, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Survivors include a brother, John Shuford Jr. of Lincolnton; three daughters, Rosalind Cooke of Kanab, Utah, Kara Vozzo and Galen Barnes; one son, Russell Cooke III of Florida and two grandchildren.

BESSEMER CITY — Geraldine Mildred Patterson, of E. Boston Avenue, formerly of Lincolnton, died March 17, 2004.
