Ruby Sigmon
MAIDEN — Ruby Kathryn Lineberger Sigmon, 86, of Mays Chapel Road, died June 16, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. today at the church.
Born in Catawba County, she was a member of the Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Whitener of Maiden and Judy Teague of Newton; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Burke Mortuary in Maiden is in charge of arrangements.

Becky Carter
SHERRILLS FORD — Becky Little Carter, 55, of 3335 Bass Drive, died June 17, 2004. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Born in Catawba County, she worked as a production planner for CommScope.
Survivors include her husband, James Carter of the home; two daughters, Shelly McKeever of Moore, SC and Tiffany Overcash of Sherrills Ford; her mother, Kay B. Jarman of Sherrills Ford; a brother, J.C. Little of Mooresville; a step-daughter, Shasta Carter of Hickory and four grandchildren, Josh Williams, Hannah McKeever, Grayson McKeever and Christina Mejia.

Evans Clements
CALIFORNIA — Evans Lee Clements Sr., 84, of Los Angeles, Calif., died June 9, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel of Enloe Mortuary. Burial will follow in Webb Memorial Lawns. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Jones Tabernacle Church in memory of Mr. Clements, 2854 Toney Road, Lawndale, NC 28090.

Louise Bridges
Louise Humphries Bridges, 75, of 643 South Grove St., died June 17, 2004. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Born in Cleveland County, she worked in the hosiery industry.
Survivors include her husband, Loy Bridges of the home; a daughter, Denise Boggs of Stanley; two granddaughters, Deanna Boggs and Lauren Boggs and two sisters, Carolyn Patrick of Lincolnton and Annette Cook of Maiden.
