Cody Johnsen
Lincoln County 4-H’ers, volunteers and family members gathered Jan. 26 to recognize 2012 achievements. Four significant awards presented included the Carolyn Heavner Goodwin 4-H Scholarship and the Junior and Senior 4-H Member of the Year and Club of the Year Awards.
Joseph Perkins and Cody Johnsen were awarded the Carolyn Heavner Goodwin 4-H Scholarship. Joseph is the son of Gordon and Cheree Perkins of Iron Station. Cody is the son of Jeff and Kristi Johnsen of Denver. The scholarships were presented by Carolyn H. Goodwin and her husband Doug. Trey Johnsen, son of Jeff and Kristi Johnsen of Denver, received the Junior Member of the Year Award, and Sarah Rodecker, daughter of Rich and Sue Rodecker of Lincolnton, received the Senior Member of the Year Award.
