Criminal charges — 2-25-13

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Thomas Michael McKee, 18, of 785 Old Homestead Ln. in Denver was charged Feb. 21 with one count of failure to appear. A $2,000 secured bond was set.
• Caleb Matthew Hale, 16, of 6066 King Wilkinson Rd. in Denver was charged Feb. 21 with one count of false report to a police radio broadcasting station. A $300 secured bond was set.
• James Andrew Baker Jr., 41, of 241 Frye Ln. in Carthage, N.C., was charged Feb. 21 with one count of failure to comply. A $1,800 bond was set.
• Dustin Edward Thomas, 20, of 4797 N.C. 73 in Iron Station was charged Feb. 21 with one count each of possessing stolen goods felony breaking and entering a building, larceny after breaking and entering, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance. A $20,000 secured bond was set.
• Dwayne Thompson, 52, of 2098 St. James Ch. Rd. in Denver was charged Feb. 21 with one count of possessing stolen goods. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
• Clinton William Carpenter, 29, of 7199 W. N.C. 27 in Vale was charged Feb. 22 with one count of driving left of center. A $500 secured bond was set.
• The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following arrests:
• Jonathan Herder, 59, of 315 E. Hoke St. in Lincolnton was charged Feb. 21 with one misdemeanor count each of larceny and injury to real property. A $6,000 secured bond was set.
