The East Lincoln High School drama department will present Joseph Kesselring’s “Arsenic and Old Lace” at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Senior Christmas party
The Gaston County Senior Center, 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy. in Dallas, will host a free Senior White Christmas Party at 11 a.m. The party will include a light lunch, door prizes and a showing of the movie White Christmas.

Asbury UMC, 3097 Asbury Ch. Rd. in Lincolnton, will host Free Breakfast with Santa 8:30-10 a.m. with food, crafts, games and pictures with Santa.
Long Shoals Baptist Church, 2988 Long Shoals Rd. in Lincolnton, will host a Christmas cantata followed by a covered dish meal starting at 11 a.m.

Africa benefit dinner
Without Walls Freedom Center in Lincolnton will host a benefit dinner 3-7 p.m. at the Lincoln Cultural Center. Call (704) 240-4411 to purchase tickets or for more information. Christmas vendors will be at the event, and all proceeds will benefit ministry mission efforts in Cameroon, Africa.

Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, 618 S. Grove St. in Lincolnton, will host Gospel singing benefit at 5:30 p.m. for the Schism family who lost their home and possessions in a fire this month. Featured artist will be Tim Henderson, a soloist and evangelist from Rock Hill, S.C.
Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 216 S. Aspen St. in Lincolnton, will host a live nativity at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. with refreshments provided.
First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 735 Buffalo Shoals Rd. in Lincolnton, will present a Christmas cantata at 6 p.m. The community choir event will be directed by Lavinia White with piano accompaniment by Dianne McAlister.
First Baptist of High Shoals will hold a Christmas candlelight service at 6 p.m.

Toys for Tots will host a Charity Cruise 7 p.m. Monday at Queens Landing in Mooresville, near Lincoln County’s eastern end. Cost is $25 or a toy valued at $25 or more. The cruise will be 2 1/2 hours long and include entertainment by a local dance studio and DJ. Financial Aid Workshop
Lincoln County Schools will host their annual Financial Aid Workshop 7-8:30 p.m. at the James W. Warren Citizens Center in Lincolnton. Timeka Ruffin, a College Foundation representative will present information about financial aid, paying for college and the FAFSA form. Juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend the event with their parents.
