Dottie Frasure
NEWTON — Dorothy Mae “Dottie” Frasure, 69, of East 1st St., died May 24, 2004. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born in Mecklenburg County.
Survivors include three sons, Albert Armstrong of Newton, Kenneth Armstrong of Gastonia and James Armstrong of Union, SC; a brother, Kenneth Frasure of Newton; three sisters, Mary Shook of Newton, Clifford Miller of Catawba and Sarah Craig of Startown; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mary Leonhardt
CHERRYVILLE — Mary Alice Reep Leonhardt, 88, of 7128 Hwy. 182, died May 25, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in Friendly Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 tonight at Stamey Funeral Home.
Born in Lincoln County, she was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Women Organization.
Survivors include three sons, Ray Leonhardt and Ed Leonhardt both of Fallston and Joe Leonhardt of Cherryville; a daughter, Sara Burgess of Denver; three brothers, Harvey Reep of Charlotte, Miller Reep of Lincolnton and Gene Reep of Elberta, Ga.; two sisters, Inez Beam of Lincolnton and Ruth Moller of Baltimore, Md.; five granddaughters, Melanie Wilson, Kristy Leonhardt, Paula Leonhardt, Jessica Leonhardt and Kim Burgess; three grandsons, Wes Allen, Eddie Leonhardt and Donnie Burgess and four great-grandchildren.

Rachel Kale
Rachel Rhyne Kale, 98, of 2957 Wesleyan Church Road, died May 25, 2004. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Pisgah United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Born in Lincoln County, she was the owner of a local grocery store.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.

Doratha Turner
KINGS MOUNTAIN — Doratha Turner, of White Oak Manor, formerly of Lincolnton, died May 26, 2004.
Arrangements are incomplete at Warlick Funeral Home.

Everette Gene Reep
Mr. Everette Gene Reep, age 55 of 727 West 3rd St. in Lincolnton, NC died Sunday, May 23, 2004 at Lincoln Medical Center.
His funeral service was 11:00 am today at Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Ray Osborne officiating. Burial followed in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Reep was born on January 25, 1949 in Lincoln County to the late Fred and Pauline Peeler Reep. He was a landscaper.
Survivors include: one son, Joshua E. Reep of Sherrills Ford, NC; two sisters, Cathey R. Wilkinson of Denver, NC, Veronica MacKinnon of Lincolnton, NC; one niece, Laura Wilkinson; one nephew, Chris Weaver; great niece Kaelah Weaver.Memorials may be made to Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church Mens Group, 520 South Madison St., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
