Bobby Kirkland
MAIDEN — Bobby Gene Kirkland Sr., 59, of Winding Cedar Drive, died May 21, 2004. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Burke Mortuary in Maiden. Burial followed in Maiden City Cemetery.
He was born in Lincoln County.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Kirkland of the home; five sons, Johnny Kirkland of Newton, Tony Kirkland, Bobby Herron and Robby Kirkland all of Maiden and Bobby Kirkland Jr. of Claremont; a daughter, Lorie Craft of Virginia; three brothers, Buddy Kirkland of Claremont, George Kirkland and Barry Kirkland both of Maiden; a sister, Virginia Davis of Denver and 14 grandchildren.

Gloria Morris
NEWTON — Gloria Jean Dudley Morris, 70, of Old State Road, died May 21, 2004. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton. Burial arrangements are incomplete at this time.
She was born in Richmond, Va.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Morris of Newton; a son, Gene Morris of Newton; three daughters, Cherie Daniels of New Bern, Melanie Tibbs and Wendy Tibbs both of Newton; seven grandchildren, Larry Morris Jr., Jason Morris, Heather Clemenic, Erica Tibbs, Brittany Tibbs, Alex Tibbs and Taylor Tibbs; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Carolyn Poore and Paty Layne both of Richamond, Va.

Haydee Cimadori
Haydee Perez Cimadori, 85, of 630 N. Flint St., died May 21, 2004. Funeral services will be held today in Hollywood, Fla. Burial will follow in Hollywood Memorial Gardens in Florida.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was a former secretary with Bank of America.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Williams of Lincolnton and two grandchildren, Roman Williams and Zoe Williams.

Annie Kelly
DENVER — Annie Lee Long Kelly, 84, of 8454 Graham Road, died May 23, 2004. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Unity Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at Warlick Funeral Home.
Born in Lincoln County, she worked in the textile industry and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Kelly of Denver; three daughters, Gay Kelly, Betty Kelly and Beverly Kelly all of Denver; a brother, Howard Long of Mt. Holly; a sister, Patsy Dickerson of Charlotte; two granddaughters, Lorie Williams and Amber Smith and two great-grandchildren.

Bertie Hartsoe
KINGS MOUNTAIN — Bertie Spencer Hartsoe, 94, of 122 Bridges St., died May 21, 2004. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain, where she was a member. Interment will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
Born in Gaston County, she was retired from Craftspun Yarns.
Survivors include four sons, Bill Spencer of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Ken Spencer of Fair Play, SC, Ed Spencer of Durham, NC and Terry Spencer of Lincolnton; two daughters, Bobbie Page of Kings Mountain and Elizabeth Wilson of Grover; three sisters, Ava Ford of Cherryville, Pearl Sisson of Gastonia and Lorene Matich of Leesburg, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

CHERRYVILLE — Mae Sellers Huss, 92, of 1071 Sellerstown Road, died May 21, 2004. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, JD and Nell Sellers of Cherryville and many nieces and nephews.

Sue Brooks
Sue Lyall Meredith Brooks, 65, died May 23, 2004. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bass-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Hickory. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Born in Wilkes County, she was a retired cashier in retail and a member of Hill Top Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Buck Webster; two sisters, Margaret Wilson and Joann Carroll both of Hickory; a son, Bobby Meredith Jr. of Taylorsville; three daughters, Kim Fox of Conover, Karen Canipe of Lincolnton and Lisa Starnes of Conover; a step-daughter, Pam Bright of Statesville; five grandchildren, Brandon Killian, Sheena Mosteller, Danielle Fox, Cody Smith and Logan Starnes; two step-grandchildren, Matthew Starnes and Robbie Bright and three great-grandchildren.

Everette Gene Reep, 55, of 727 3rd St., died May 23, 2004.

Harold Mosteller
Harold Dean Mosteller, 66, of 1841 Bill Lynch Road, died May 23, 2004. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Riverview Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Born in Lincoln County, he worked in the textile industry.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. Mosteller of the home; two sons, Larry Rudisill of Lincolnton and Steve Mosteller of Vale; four daughters, Linda Self, Teresa Scronce and Rita Dyer all of Lincolnton and Vickie Robinson of Cherryville; a brother, Tommy Mosteller; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Harry Gene Dellinger
Mr. Harry Gene Dellinger, age 67 of 1781 Will Schronce Road in Lincolnton, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2004.
His funeral service was held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2004 at Pearl Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Cranford, Pastor Ken Gibson, pastor Harry Caldwell, Pastor Robert Wensil and Pastor Jimmy Peeler officiating. The body lay in state from 2:15 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial followed in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9;00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2004 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Dellinger was born on June 8, 1936 in Lincoln County. He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Ruth Stafford Dellinger and sister, Donna Fargo. He worked as a brick mason in the construction industry and was retired from Dellinger Masonry. He was also retired from the City of Lincolnton Fire Department. Mr. Dellinger served honorably in the United States Army and faithfully served Christ as a lifetime member of Salem Baptist Church. Through his gift of singing he ministered to countless individuals.
Survivors include: wife of 44 years, Shirley Conner Dellinger of the home; three sons, Darrell Eugene Dellinger and wife, Erika of Crouse, NC, Dennis Wayne Dellinger and wife, Susan of Cherryville, NC, Bryan Keith Dellinger and wife, Glenda of Kernersville, NC; four brothers, Fred Dellinger, Steve Dellinger and Roy Dellinger all of Lincolnton, NC, Doug Dellinger of Dallas, NC; five sisters, Colene Parmer, Ethelene Leatherman, Sue Peeler and Blanche Poole all of Lincolnton, NC, Kay Allen of Harrisburg, NC; five grandchildren, Zachary, Seth, Ethan, Rebekah and Hannah Dellinger of Lincolnton, NC.

Macie Louise Holt
Macie Louise Holt, 77 of Arnold, Maryland, formerly of Venetia, died Monday, May 17, 2004 in her home. She was born February 25, 1927 in Lincolnton, NC, a daughter of Macie Harrelson Elmore of Crouse, NC and the late Claude T. Elmore.
Mrs. Holt was a homemaker and a member of Center Presbyterian Church, McMurray.
On July 3, 1945 she married Robert E. Holt Sr. who died May 23, 1997.
Surviving, in addition to her mother are one son, Robert E. Holt Jr. of Arnold, Maryland, with whom she made her home; one daughter, Patricia Holt of Warren, Ohio; three grandchildren, Erik Robert, Sarah Margaret and Caleb John Holt; one sister, Betty Davis of Crouse, NC; three brothers, Paul Ray and James Wayne both of Crouse, NC and Franklin Elmore of Orlando, Florida.
Friends were received from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19 at Bogan Funeral Homes, Inc., 164 W. Pike St., Canonsburg. Services were held Thursday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Center Presbyterian Church, 255 Center Church Road, McMurray with Rev. Joseph Rychcik officiating. Burial followed in Center Church Cemetery, McMurray.
