Criminal Charges — 7-9-12

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Cleland Paul Ramsey, 58, of 5775 Spring Branch Rd. in Cherryville was charged July 4 with one count of simple assault. No bond was set.
• Danielle Ringler Thomas, 35, of 2697 N.C. 182 Hwy. in Lincolnton was charged July 4 with one count of communicating threats. She’s since been released on a written promise.
• David Kern Griffith, 55, of Country Club Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 4 with one count of first-degree trespassing. An $800 bond was set.
• Robert Joseph Tahsler, 38, of 8106 Sisters Ln. in Denver was charged July 5 with one count of cyberstalking. No bond was set.
• Jamie Hurst Mitchem, 36, of 1105 Oakbrook Ln. in Denver was charged July 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 bond was set.
• William James Vanzile, 27, of 138 Springs East Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one count of non-support family. A $400 cash bond was set.
• Johnathon Harlen Kirkland, 24, of 203 Upper Stanley Rd. in Stanley was charged July 5 with one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A $2,500 bond was set.
• Ralph Alexander Hall, 24, of 817 S. 15th St. in Bessemer City was charged July 5 with one count of assault on a government official. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
• Floyd Homer Wright III, 43, of 312 McGregor Rd. in Gastonia was charged July 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
• Jada Blair Mitchem, 19, of 7394 Palm Tree Dr. in Vale was charged July 5 with one count each of driving while license revoked, no financial responsibility and displaying an expired registration plate. A $500 secured bond was set.
• Scott David Royster, 37, of 3411 Harmon Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one count of misdemeanor larceny. No bond was set.
• Jonathan Eric Ward, 30, of 122 Wells St. in Lawndale was charged July 6 with one count of identity theft-trafficking in stolen identities. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
• Christa Michelle Melton, 34, of 2660 31st St. Ct. NE in Hickory was charged July 6 with one count of failure to comply. A $632.50 bond was set.

The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following arrests:

• Henry McClain Umphress, 56, of 614 S. Edwards St. in Lincolnton was charged July 2 with two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. An unknown bond amount was set.
• Jackie N. Handsel, 38, of 1903 Rhyne Rd. in Dallas was charged July 3 with one misdemeanor count each of larceny, trespassing, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. An $8,500 secured bond was set.
• David Lawrence Duran, 40, of 2124 N. Aspen St. in Lincolnton was charged July 4 with one misdemeanor count of second-degree trespassing. He was released on a written promise.
• Johnathan Hamrick, 31, of 722 Lakehurst St. in Shelby was charged July 5 with one misdemeanor count each of cyberstalking and stalking. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
• Lonnie Ray Carpenter Jr., 32, of 1638 Roseland Dr. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one misdemeanor count each of concealment, larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. An $800 secured bond was set.
• Jeffery Scott Blauvelt, 47, of 320 A North Aspen St. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one misdemeanor count each of indecent exposure and communicating threats. A $1,200 secured bond was set.

 The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following criminal summons:

•  Michael Rodney Heflin, 47, of 947 Lockridge Ln. in Lincolnton was issued a criminal summons July 4 for one misdemeanor count of worthless check.
