Police have recovered more than $30,000 in lawn equipment and a work truck that they said was stolen from a city residence over the weekend.
The items were taken from a home on North Cedar Street Sunday night and located at Betty G. Ross Park in Lincolnton Tuesday morning, Lt. Brian Greene said.
Among the items stolen included a work truck, lawn mowers, weed eater, rakes and leaf blower.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies assisted police with the investigation and recovery, Greene said.
Police said they have a person of interest in the case but have yet to make an arrest.
