Softball
Lincolnton defeated Newton-Conover 6-1 on Tuesday. Sydney Devine won the game as pitcher for the Lady Wolves with two hits, nine strikeouts and three walks.
Desirae Reinhardt went 3-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs, Ashtyn Whitesides was 1-3 with an RBI and Devine went 1-4 with a double and an RBI.
The Lady Wolves fell to Maiden 10-0 on Wednesday.
