Evelyn Davis
VALE — Evelyn Jennette Canipe Davis, 56, of 7997 Falling Brook Lane, died May 3, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at North Brook Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Lincoln County, she was employed by Fine Furniture Company.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Davis of the home; a son, Tony Davis of Vale; a brother, David Canipe Jr. of Hickory; three sisters, Mary Young of Hickory, Flossie Greene and Rlee Schronce both of Vale; her mother, Vangie Rosey Bivens Canipe of Vale and four grandchildren, Miranda Davis, Hilary Davis, Emilee Davis and Nathan Davis.
Memorials may be made to North Brook Baptist Church Building Fund, 7421 Flay Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.

Gary Adams
CHERRYVILLE — Gary Price Adams, 40, of 1639 Sneed Road, died May 2, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Born in Gaston County, he was a disabled Army veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 100 and the DAV.
Survivors include his wife, Gina Ampal Adams; four brothers, Joel Adams of Rocky Mount, Keith Hunter of Gastonia, Jimmy Adams of Shelby and Tony Adams of Randleman; three sisters, Debbie Pfeiffer of Hendersonville, Charlotte Thore of Mooresville and Renee Crane of Nairobi, Kenya; his father, Morris Adams of Cherryville and a number of other children.
Memorials may be made to Southeastern Paralyzed Veterans Association, Inc. U.S. Hwy. #1, 4010 Deans Bridge, Road, Hepzibah, Ga. 30815.

WC Lipscomb
SHELBY — William “WC” Lipscomb, 69, of 422 E. Warren St., Apt. 34, died May 3, 2004.
Arrangements are incomplete at Enloe Mortuary in Shelby.

Janice McKee
LAWNDALE — Janice Katherine Wilson McKee, 69, of 433 Plainsview Church Road, died May 4, 2004. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a retired SIMS coordinator at Fallston Elementary School and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn McKee; four sons, Dennis McKee of Lawndale, Jerry McKee of Morganton, Randy McKee and Barry McKee both of Fallston; a daughter, Mary McKee of Fallston and 10 grandchildren.

IRON STATION — Paul F. Jones, 38, of 487 E. Hwy. 27, died May 4, 2004.
